About Eleanor Xiafei Chin
I spent my early career in innovation management, around lots of smart people building cool, new things. I was mostly exposed to digital products and services, because my mom worked with computers and to quote Seth Godin,\"people like us do stuff like this.\" And then I went to grad school. I got my master\'s degree in engineering for the developing world, where I focused on electrochemical and chlorine-based methods for contaminant removal. I also gained field experience in operating and testing a standalone treatment system in rural California. I stuck around in the water treatment space for a bit, then pivoted over to dry utilities.
