ABOUT ELLIE GRACE

I am a London-based yoga teacher trainer, yoga educator and meditation teacher. I offer mentorships for yoga teachers in trauma-informed yoga and mindful business as a tool for social change as well as university-credited courses for first and second year medical students at Queen Mary University London on the neurophysiological benefits of yoga. To date, over 500 students have selected and completed my program with a 100% positive response. My mission is to expand this highly impactful program into Medical Schools UK-wide. Previously, I developed and taught a course for undergraduates at Loyola Marymount University, California on mind-body awareness through yoga and have lectured on LMU\'s Science & Theology course. I hold an MA in Yoga Studies from LMU, California where my research specialism focussed on the effects of grief and trauma on the mind and body and the ways yoga, meditation and writing can bring about healing. I have worked with war veterans overcoming PTSD (UCLA), health clinics (Venice Family Clinic), private clients, yoga teachers, community groups, medical students (Queen Mary University), undergraduates (LMU) NHS doctors (Duty to Care) and socially-minded organisations seeking to create a sustainable, human-centred culture inspired by yoga ethics (The New York Times & The School for Social Entrepreneurs). I am also a meditation teacher on Insight Timer.
