ABOUT ELEANORE BEARD
I am an experienced commercial lawyer and Data Protection Practitioner (PC.dp) who specialises in data protection. I advise clients on a range of commercial matters, data protection compliance, PECR compliance and freedom of information.I am a former criminal defence solicitor, representing clients in the police station, Magistrates Court and the Crown Court. I then moved in-house, starting off as the legal adviser and then the Head of Legal and Compliance, before heading back to private practice to follow my interest in data protection law. I am certified PC.dp and have extensive experience of acting as a Data Protection Officer, implementing privacy programmes and frameworks to help clients comply with legislation.
