ABOUT ELEANOR W.

I am a forward-focussed, ambitious professional with experience working in different People Team roles. I pride myself on creating trusting connections, being a team player and a collaborative problem solver, which lends itself to a people-oriented career. In 2015, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant through the graduate programme at PwC, I was appointed as Tax Compliance Manager in the Global Mobility Team at Rolls-Royce. Ready for a new challenge in April 2017, I undertook a career development secondment as Technical Assistant to the Rolls-Royce Chief People Officer. I expanded my generalist People experience and understanding of the HR eco-system partnering the Civil Aerospace Services business as a People Partner before returning to Global Mobility to lead the Mobility Team at Tesco. Since joining Tesco I have led Talent and Executive Resourcing Practice of Expertise and most recently led the People Operating Model Programme before being appointed as Head of People Strategy & Planning. My career journey and experience of different roles has given me knowledge of many HR disciplines including talent, business partnering, people strategy, OD, engagement, diversity & inclusion, mobility, reward, employment law and colleague relations. In early 2022 I completed my Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Experience Assessment and qualified as a Chartered Member. This breadth of experience enables me to be a fast-paced, inclusive, and pragmatic thinker who is commercially savvy.
