About Eleanor Stubley
As a public relations specialist, I help drive public relations, project management and thought leadership efforts across a variety of accounts, specifically Tropical Smoothie Cafe, TenCate Protective Fabrics, Primrose Schools, the University of Mississippi and Orkin Residential. On Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I\'m responsible for growing the client’s thought leadership footprint, both in the Atlanta community and in the QSR space, servicing them by identifying and securing speaking and media opportunities, as well as ways to get involved in the community. I\'m also heavily involved in the day-to-day media relations efforts for Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Orkin but get to hone in on my events skills on occasion, planning and executing events for both TenCate and Orkin. I am a proud University of Georgia “Double Dawg” where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and certificate from the Grady Sports Media Certificate Program, before going on to pursue a Master’s in sports management. While obtaining my master’s degree, I worked full-time for UGA’s sports communications department where I assisted with media strategy and operational execution of major NCAA athletic events and developed and implemented strategic engagement efforts through social media campaigns. I also served as the assistant sports information director for the men\'s tennis team, coordinating all media events and traveling with the team to NCAA tournaments for two consecutive seasons. While my background is in media relations, I also have extensive experience with event planning and graphic design. My strengths include strong written and verbal skills, a keen attention to detail and accuracy, communication, coordinating events and graphic design. My interests are in community relations/outreach, media coordination, content creation and strategic planning for sporting events.
