AMI/USF is a US-based 501(c)(3) public charity. The mission of AMI/USF is to raise funds and make grants to advance the principles, methods, and values of Dr. Maria Montessori for the education, development and welfare of children and young adults. To accomplish this purpose, AMI/USF will:1. receive contributions and conduct fundraising in the United States;2. make grants to support Montessori-related projects around the world; and3. make grants to support specific educational, charitable, and/or scientific projects of AMI in particular.Volunteers run AMI/USF where I serve as president. To this start-up organization, I am bringing my experience in entrepreneurial start-ups, my business training and back-ground, my leadership skills as well as my passion for improving the lives of children around the world through education. At present, we are in the earliest phase of our launch plan, seeking donations from others passionate about Montessori education and wanting to have a positive impact for peace.AMI/USF is affiliated with Association Montessori Internationale in Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Educateurs san Frontiers.
