After one year of experience working in the clinic, earned RBT certification by completing the 40 hr online training, succeeding in the in-person competency exam, and passing the in-person multiple choice exam- Work one on one with clients around ages 2-16 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other developmental disabilities to help them improve their skills and improve behavior - Under supervision of BCBA to develop behavioral goals and tasks for client such as communication, socialization, and self care - Collect data and write session notes for client progress and insurance purposes - Practice in clinic, and may travel for in home sessions or in school - Facilitate “Cosmic Kids” camp group therapy sessions by organizing and leading activities/schedule - Shadow and work with in clinic speech therapist who sees ABA clients to gain experience and prepare for SLP masters program
