Thank G-D, I have been given the opportunity to pursue my passion in education at a part time position with the University of West Los Angeles School of Law (UWLA).At UWLA, I teach a summer elective in California DUI Defense & Traffic Citations. The course takes more of a hands-on approach in preparing students for the practice of criminal law in the defense of infractions, misdemeanors, and felonies relating to the California Vehicle Code. The course covers legal issues, forms, pleadings, procedures, preparation of the case and defense thereof, and issues dealing with Traffic Court and Diversion Drug Court ProgramsIn addition, during the academic year from Fall thru Spring semesters, I teach legal writing and analysis. These courses are geared as a supplement to prepare students in their own courses. The emphasis is on aiding students with issue spotting, legal writing and analysis within the IRAC framework.
