   Collaborating with emerging and acclaimed artists, communities, consultants, cross-sector stakeholders, clients and elected officials, Elayna artistically directs the transformation of plazas, buildings, streetscapes and gardens into “Art Places” to enhance community identity, create a distinct sense of place, engage residents and attract tourists. Elayna collaboratively built the County’s Public Art Program and Art Collection from the ground up. She oversees public art project scope development, artist selections, artist contracts, and the design, fabrication and installation of site-specific architectural scale art. Elayna also curates and manages the permanent and changing art exhibitions at Palm Beach International Airport. Additionally, she led development of an \"ARTist in the Garden Master Plan\" for the Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County. She also facilitated a Public Art Needs Assessment to guide policy and program growth, and led collaborative development of a Public Art Master Plan for the City of Delray Beach. She is the writer, co-producer, and host of “The Art of Making Place” and “Creativity Takes Flight” TV shows which showcase artist created community places, reaching millions of viewers on Channel 20.An active leader in the public art ecosystem, Elayna advises municipalities, private businesses, and nonprofit organizations on all aspects of the public art continuum and creative placemaking best practices.
