Responsibilities include: Independently program, setup and operate 6 axis Tsugami BO326-II, 2-6 axis lathes (Mori CL\'s, SL, DL, NLX with subspindle and live tooling) and VMC\'s (Mori VK45, MV40, Excel with and without rotary). Machine high quality parts to the precise tolerances of the drawings provided. Develop machining process, tooling and workholding needed. Work with high safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot programs and malfunctions, adapt and improvise as needed, and assist fellow machinists and trainees whenever possible. Continuously work to improve setups, cycle times and processes. Take the lead in departmental goals and duties. Run multiple machines when possible/necessary. Encourage teamwork and company morale and work towards company goals.
