Undertake investigation of notifiable work health and safety incidents-Undertake triage of legislated notifications from PCBU’s of death, serious injuries and dangerous incidents and initiate appropriate SafeWork NSW response-Undertake verifications (reviews and inspections) of PCBU’s management of safety incidents-Monitor PCBU compliance with enforceable undertakings pursuant to work health and safety legislation entered into by PCBUs-Provide advice and assistance to PCBUs to achieve compliance with work health and safety legislation-Undertake compliance and enforcement of work health and safety legislation-Participate in the conduct of targeted interventions at workplaces measuring how effectively they manage legislated principal hazards under WHS Laws, including hazard identification, risk assessment, implementing risk controls, monitoring the effectiveness of risk controls and undertaking review of risk controls pursuant to legislated triggers-Monitor and ensure compliance with legislated notices issued to mine operators in accordance with designated timeframes-Undertake case management to ensure all outcomes from proactive program of works are processed and closed out in accordance with Comcare\'s procedures-Prepare high quality evidence-based reports documenting assessment outcomes from proactive investigations for the Department utilising prescribed protocols and procedures to promote compliance and industry improvement-Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and protocols to support the achievement of regulatory objectives-Prepare correspondence to PCBU\'s, workers, union representatives and other stakeholders to resolve outstanding regulatory issues and assist PCBU\'s to meet legislative requirements and ensure compliance-Prepare recommendations to PCBU\'s regarding the results of assessments and inspections, safe operating practices and strategies to improve the health and safety of the workplace.
