ABOUT ELAINE ZHANG
Since high school, I have always dreamt to develop my career in the retail industry, and that was the motivation for my study in Retail Merchandising and completing my master degree in Management. In my opinion, merchandising is balancing the art and science of retail. “Art” is choosing and bringing great items and lines for customers; “Science”, on the other hand, is analyzing the previous and current market data and information, and can also forecast the financial performance of the product that we choose to bring to customers. I love merchandising because it’s like a crossroads of my interest, strength, and background.
