Guiding new and non-native English-speaking Principal Investigators to:(a) refine how to communicate the potential value behind their research to secure proposal funding, and (b) shape scientific narratives to help the public understand the importance and possible future implications of their research.Current research interests: Educational interventions to accelerate research and proposal development, as well as studying the effectiveness of implementation methods for initiatives that drive workforce development (high school to faculty) and expand the biomedical research enterprise.Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research: Mending broken hearts and blood vessels - Building regenerative heart patches and blood vessels to replace dead tissue from cardiovascular disease, and to replace tissues in pediatric patients with congenital defects.Interests: cardiovascular tissue engineering and biomaterials, stem cells, cellular mechanics, scientific writing, education, research development
