ABOUT ELAINE GLOVER-RODRIGUEZ

I enjoy working with a committed group of individuals on purposeful projects and championing for change. It is my goal to add value wherever I go and to make room for others to succeed. My professional experience includes creating new avenues for youth and communities to succeed. I have Project Manager (PMP), LeanSixSigma, and Operations experience woven into my competency quilt which includes Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, MS Project/Project Planner, Outlook), Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Reader, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Canva, QuickBooks Pro and Salesforce. I have consistently used Microsoft Forms, Jotform, Google forms, Surveymonkey, and Eventbrite as platforms to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders producing, promoting, managing projects, initiatives, and events that engage and impact young New Yorkers. Within the last decade, my passion to connect with and impact others has led me to participate in global relief, humanitarian and missions work in Haiti, Peru, and Cuba. The effect of my time in Haiti following the earthquake of 2010 ignited within me a desire to venture into the nonprofit sector. With the knowledge I\'ve gleaned earning my B.A. in Sociology at CUNY\'s Lehman College, it helps me to identify, analyze, and create initiatives, recommendations, and policies to address pressing social issues. It is a joy to create content, collaborate with amazing colleagues, and create opportunities for positive change here in New York City.
