About Elaine Lederer
Coordinates and collaborates across geographies from the Americas, to Europe, to the Asian Pacific to provide EHS compliance and sustainability guidance to a multitude of sectors. Develops, implements, and supports programs best suited for sites and teams by assessing culture, capacity, and perspective. Some of my experiences include: Performed assessments around the world to identify regulatory, international standards, and company policy noncompliance as well as opportunities to implement best practices. Identified themes based on multi-site assessments, risk ranked findings, and developed realistic solutions based on resources.Evaluated regulatory applicability for industrial processes and waste management methods for multiple industrial clients as part of compliance evaluations and waste management optimization reviews. Assessments included suggestions to support circular economy initiatives and reduce regulatory burden. Developed unique waste determination and tracking tool that integrates EHS staff compliance training, regulatory record keeping requirements, and waste optimization opportunities into one platform that can be implemented across multiple sites. Designed and implemented numerous client-specific comprehensive waste management programs integrating federal, state and local regulations, reduction opportunities, and circularity with routine and special event waste generation events. Contaminated site investigation at remote technically complex, logistically challenging sites that require careful and considerate community outreach. Development of site conceptual models, multi-party negotiation support and characterization field work planning and performance.Continuous state and federal regulatory compliance support in railroad transportation facilities, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and oil & gas refineries including waste program compliance and reporting, SPCC development and inspection, MTCA program monitoring and reporting, NPDES ISGP and CSGP compliance via development, site inspections, reporting, and on site personnel guidance.
