I represent businesses and individuals in office, retail and industrial leasing; real property acquisitions, dispositions, and financing; and contract negotiations. I also advise clients on property management and operational issues. Before joining LON, my career included serving as an officer of two publicly-traded Real Estate Investment Trusts. Years of experience collaborating with leasing, property management, accounting, construction and engineering colleagues, has given me unique insights into clients\' businesses, and helps me provide practical solutions. As Vice President and Regional Counsel at Boston Properties, I was responsible for all legal matters related to the company’s West Coast operations and 6.2-million-square-foot portfolio. At Cornerstone Properties, my practice focused on leasing and property management for the company’s Bay Area holdings. I have taught law at UC Berkeley, UC Law San Francisco (formerly Hastings), Golden Gate University, and the University of Paris, France. Courses include Contracts, Real Property, UCC Article 2, Community Property, and Writing and Research in the core curriculum, as well as Real Estate Transactions, Real Estate Clinic, and Disability Law electives.I have been active in numerous trade organizations, including serving as Chair of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of California, as President of Commercial Real Estate Women-San Francisco, and on the Board of BOMA California, and as Chair of BOMA-SF\'s Government and Public Affairs Committee. For more than 20 years, I was the CFO of the Blum Foundation, a local institution that provides financial aid to law students at San Francisco law schools.Thomson Reuters has honored me as a Northern California “Super Lawyer” in the field of real estate law, and and the San Francisco Business Times has named me one of its100 Most Influential Women in Business.
