ABOUT ELA BRODERICK-BASAR

I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a 2:1 Law with American Law degree in 2015. As part of my degree, my third year was spent at the Cumberland School of Law, Alabama. I received a distinction in the LPC and my MSC in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law.I have extensive in-house experience having spent over three years at the fashion management company, McArthurGlen, as the commercial legal team\'s sole paralegal. My role was initially real estate focused but as I developed, so did my role and I was able to expand into commercial contracts and corporate legal work. Currently, I am an Associate in the CTO Team at RPC. I specalise in both drafting and advising on commercial contracts, with a particular emphasis on those relating to the retail and consumer sectors. I also undertake extensive advisory work in relation to advertising and marketing. As a dedicated retail and consumer lawyer specialising in commercial contracts, I’m passionate about helping businesses stay compliant and innovative – and all while navigating the complexities of the ever-evolving marketplace.My expertise lies in providing strategic, practical advice that empowers retailers and brands to grow confidently. Being part of a field that significantly impacts both businesses and consumers is what drives my dedication and passion.Clients appreciate working with me because I\'m a personable and commercially-minded junior lawyer.
