ABOUT EKTA K.

I am a results-driven QA Analyst with over 3 years of experience specialized in the Banking and Insurance sectors. My core mission is to act as a quality gatekeeper—ensuring that every release is robust, compliant, and meets high industry standards- My work has largely involved testing complex end-to-end business workflows across Policy, Billing, Claims, personal banking, and credit card platforms- I have hands-on experience in sanity, smoke, regression, and new feature testing across web and mobile applications, including iOS and Android- I’m comfortable working in onsite–offshore delivery models, and often act as the bridge between teams — reviewing offshore defects and making sure only clear, high-signal items reach developers- A big part of my day-to-day work is following up on high-priority and blocking issues, coordinating with developers and QA leads, and making sure nothing critical slips through the cracks- I enjoy designing and executing test cases, planning test coverage, and making sure incremental changes are thoroughly tested before release- I work daily with tools like Jira, TestRail, Confluence, Bugzilla, and Quality Center, and I’m familiar with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG for automation support- I believe in clear communication and accountability — I’ve consistently prepared weekly testing status and defect reports for stakeholders to support release readiness- What motivates me most is seeing a release go live with zero critical defects and knowing the team and end-users can rely on it
