Responsible for delivering on-premise and cloud data warehouse and analytic solutions by ingesting, integrating, and curating data, as well as building analytical solutions, and administering systems to deliver information to the health system. Serve as a functional and content expert of both on-premise SQL Server and cloud Databricks data warehouses, synthesizing raw data into actionable information for analytical solutions. Collaborate with business users to gather and scope requirements for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from both internal and external data sources to implement new and enhanced data ingestion and warehousing designs. Develop, enhance, and support cloud data ingestion and warehousing using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Databricks, utilizing Azure SQL, Databricks/Spark, and Python. Apply expertise in relational databases, including advanced SQL and Python knowledge, to create complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes. Define key solutions and ensure readiness for consumption by users and across teams. Research, analyze, determine capabilities and propose solution alternatives to address specific business needs and product/service strategies. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor within the department by sharing skills, experience, knowledge, and expertise on analytic tools and solutions. Create documentation, develop and deliver training, and provide support through the organization on the use of developer-maintained solutions and end user consumption tools.
