ABOUT ERIC KONOFAL

Eric Konofal, MD, PhD, is a senior medical consultant at the Paediatric Sleep Disorders Center and clinical investigator (CIC 9202), at Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacogenetic Department of Robert Debré Hospital (APHP). Dr. Konofal is a nationally and internationally recognized as a sleep disorder researcher, scientist, and medical investigator in ADHD, RLS, and Alertness and Wake-Deficit Spectrum Disorders. His research interests are also focused on brain- and iron-dopamine interactions in subjects with neurological sleep disorders. He has still initiated previous studies based on iron and its interest in pathophysiology of ADHD and has explored the relationship between brain and iron. Dr. Konofal has created a first BioTech (BLK Pharma), which has been incubated at Paris BioTech Santé Paris (20••••13) and has been co-founder of NeuroLifeSciences (NLS), which is formally involved in Wake-Deficit Spectrum Disorders for Drugs Development and Research.These drugs are respectively potent in: Decline of alertness (in elderly); Alertness; Physical Stimulation and Vigilance.
