About Eric Veal

I help organizations capture, clean, and integrate their data so they can operate more effectively, scale with confidence, and become investor ready. My work covers the full operational landscape. This includes the systems that run the business such as finance, supply chain, planning, and HR. It includes the systems that run customers and revenue such as sales and marketing automation. It also includes the systems that run production such as manufacturing execution, quality, maintenance, and machine monitoring. I bring 30 years of software engineering, consulting, and cross functional leadership across manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and other regulated industries. I hold an MBA and an MS in Information Systems from the University of Washington and have delivered major programs for Siemens, Walmart, Nissan, Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, and Salesforce, along with many small businesses and consulting firms. Because I have worked inside big tech and on the customer side, I help organizations make better decisions about vendors, costs, and technology investments. I am also a speaker, podcaster, facilitator, and consultant with a strong interest in information management and in helping teams build a healthier information diet that favors facts and data over noise and bravado.

   I am building a growing, national community of space enthusiasts interested in the fast-paced space industry. I am the organizer for monthly online meetups and I coach speakers for maximum impact. Past events have hosted leaders from AWS Space, Umbra, Vera Rubin Observatory, SkyFi and Raytheon.
