I had started in 2009 as Circulation Manager. In 2012 I was promoted to Sales Manager. I show up to work with a smile and I think people appreciate that. People can tell that I genuinely care.I also have a good foundation of heavy equipment knowledge coupled with knowledge of how to market my customers products whether in print or digitally (including social media). I like getting to meet and know new people. I love to hear operators’ and customers’ stories/history. There are a lot of companies in the construction and landscaping industries that are 2nd, 3rd & 4th generation. I like learning about my customers businesses by going on tours of their factory/jobsite, sometimes trying out their equipment and then telling a bit of their story on social media. Of course, carrying on my grandfather’s legacy with my brother (3rd gen) is what makes me the proudest.I see more women joining the trade and more recognition of it being a great industry.
