Under the direction of the EMS Programs director, develop and implement instruction for the various EMS, fire and police programs administered by the college in varied formats based on student demand, day or evening, at various sites in Alamance County, utilizing traditional classroom and hybrid format. Develop, implement and deliver instructional content for initial certification as well as continuing education classes for medical responder, EMT Basic and EMT-Paramedic. Develop, implement and deliver instructional classes on Blood Borne Pathogens and Occupational compliance programs to meet the compliance standards for OSHA and NC State Department of Labor. Lead Instructor for the monthly continuing education class, design, develop and deliver educational content based on state and national educational standards for Emergency Medical Technician. Deliver instruction based on American Heart Association Instructor requirements for the following disciplines, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Basic CPR and First Aid. Assist in the preparation of materials used in academic administration when requested, including course syllabi, program outlines and course scheduling. Collect, maintain and submit accurate class records including grades, attendance rosters, absences and withdrawals to the EMS program director.
