Support environmental compliance for a large-scale vegetation management program across Southern/Central California. Manage a multidisciplinary team coordinating surveys and monitoring of biological/waters resources for clearance of hazard trees along utility transmission lines. Oversee weekly staffing of up to surveys and 75 monitoring assignments. Apply knowledge of Special Status species, regulations such as the Migratory Bird Treaty act, and Federal/State Permit requirements during project planning and implementation. Interpret field surveys to determine habitat conditions, Sensitive Species suitability and sightings, and necessary environmental protections.Lead meetings with biological subcontractors, tree contractors, and the client on a weekly basis and liaison with Agencies as needed. Coordinate with other ERM teams to ensure execution of deliverables and identify process improvements. Train new environmental coordinators and delegate tasks for ArcGIS Online desktop constraints analysis, project-specific web apps and databases, and Excel. Lead intensive environmental support for specialized tree clearance efforts over multi-week periods.
