ABOUT EILIDH LITTLEJOHN
Chartered Associate Building Surveyor BSc (Hons) from Glasgow Caledonian University with 2:1 honors degree in Building Surveying. I am employed at Cushman & Wakefield in their Project & Development Services team as a Chartered Associate Building Surveyor, in London where I have worked since 2015.I currently work across a range of sectors in the UK. I take a main focus on Technical Due Diligence for occupiers and investors, Dilapidations and Project/ Development Monitoring, as well as having experience in other areas of Building Surveying such as Reinstatement Cost Assessments, Defect Diagnosis, Licence for Alterations, Contract Administration and Schedule of Conditions.I focus on working with Healthcare clients and our internal Healthcare team. This involves predominately working on and managing large portfolios and individual instructions undertaking and preparing Technical Due Diligence and Reinstatement Cost Assessment inspections and reports, which support their acquisition of the healthcare facility they are looking to acquire. The properties we have focused on and I have worked on, vary from, care homes nationally, to private hospitals on Harley Street and health centers and clinics across London and the UK. As a building surveyor working in the commercial real estate industry with Cushman & Wakefield, we can offer services to clients who are looking to - Occupy or vacate premises in relation to dilapidations/disposal, acquisitions/ office fit-outs, occupation/ lease events/licence to alters, building surveys. As well as, offering services to investors/landlords requiring assistance on- redevelopment/ refurbishment/ disposal, lease events, acquisition, disposal/ exit strategies. I sit on the Editorial board for the RICS Built Environment Journal, which I have written articles for. Previous experience -I joined Cushman & Wakefield on their Graduate programme for Building Surveying in 2015 in the Manchester office, since then I have gained my chartership and relocated to their London office.I spent 10 months working for Renfrewshire Council, in their surveying department where I helped with small and large scale projects which varied over the different competencies required from a building surveyor; that helped me to enhance my skills and experience as a surveyor. I gained a broad experience in sales and customer service,when working for Marks & Spencers which helped develop my communication and team working skills.
