ABOUT EILEEN FLANAGAN
A graduate of Duke and Yale, Eileen Flanagan is the award-winning author of three books and scores of articles. In addition to helping people to make their activism more effective through her online teaching, she speaks to international audiences on how to build a more strategic and spiritually grounded movement for climate justice. For five years, she served as the board chair of Earth Quaker Action Team, which successfully pressured PNC Bank to stop financing mountaintop removal coal mining. Preceding the 2020 election, she was Trainings Coordinator of Choose Democracy, which in a matter of weeks trained people in nonviolent skills to thwart a potential coup.
