About Eileen Wixted
Our company helps successful organizations and individuals communicate strategically to retain or grow their business. We work closely with clients as they face high-risk low-frequency events – the types of events that can impact market share and ruin reputations. Our clients face tough challenges and need actionable strategy, compelling messaging, and intensive communication coaching. We provide strategic communications, crisis management and training services. We recently changed the name of our firm to Wixted & Company. Our name change is simply a formality. A little more than two decades ago I co-founded what became Wixted Pope Nora Thompson & Associates. We now work independently and I thought it would be best to have a separate name and entity that reflects our company structure. Wixted & Company focuses on healthcare, energy, agribusiness, insurance and financial sector clients. During the past two decades we have been dedicated to helping clients navigate difficult issues and communicate with purpose and clarity. Our healthcare practice provides strategy, counsel and communication training for more than 500 hospitals. We provide crisis communication planning, training, and drill support to two-thirds of all of the commercially-owned and operated nuclear power plants in North America.Specialties: strategy, executive coaching, media training, presentation training, community relations outreach, nuclear drills and exercises, crisis planning and drilling, crisis response services
