Graphic Design and Digital Publishing program at the Center for Technology, Essex is a two-year technical full day program for juniors and seniors in high school. Graphic Design I mirrors a graphic design studio. Students work on state of the art hardware and software while producing design projects. Students take a design project from concept creation through digital production and preparation for output to various media. Through project work, site visits, field trips and job shadows, students gain experience in many aspects of the Graphic Design and Creative Media industries. Graphic Design II is for students who want to work in a career-based client driven design studio. Upon completion of the program, students present their design portfolio to a regional design council.
