Eileen LaCario (Vice President, Broadway In Chicago, a Nederlander Presentation) has been in show business for over 40 years working on over 200 productions. She has worked in all areas of the theatre in both regional and touring houses. Eileen is a founding executive of Broadway In Chicago and the marketing team, of which she oversees, developed the marketing plans for the World Premiere Pre-Broadway engagements of \"The Producers - a Mel Brooks Musical\",\"Sweet Smell of Success\",\"Movin’ Out\",\"Monty Python’s Spamalot\",\"Kinky Boots\" and \"On Your Feet!\" as well as the long engagements of \"Wicked\",\"Disney’s The Lion King\",\"Jersey Boys\", and currently working on the long-run of \"Hamilton\" in Chicago. Eileen has opened/re-opened six theatres including the Royal George; the Halsted Theatre Center; Cadillac Palace; Oriental; Bank of America Theatre, and the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place. She began her career at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse and Forum Theatres and has held the positions of Vice President of Sales for Livent and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Fox Theatricals. Eileen was recognized by the Broadway League for outstanding Marketing in 2010. Her civic involvement includes serving City of Chicago Cultural Advisory Council, Cultural Tourism Commission, Chicago Loop Alliance and in 2015 produced Mayor Rahm Emanuel\'s Inaugural Ceremony. Eileen is President of the TimeLine Theatre Board, the Past Chair, current Foundation Board Member of the League of Chicago Theatres and a member of the Museum of Science and Industry Advisory Council. In addition, Eileen created and currently teaches a marketing course for new work musicals at Northwestern University and is a Senior Adviser to the President of Landmark. She is married to theatrical producer and general manager, Tony D’Angelo and together they have three grown children who are all professionals in the creative and entertainment industries.
