I’m a Distributed Systems & Platform Engineer with 20+ years of experience architecting large-scale, low-latency, and highly reliable systems across finance, aerospace, gaming, and retail. My work centers on building distributed platforms that must operate under real-world constraints: correctness, consistency, throughput, latency, and failure tolerance at scale.I specialize in event-driven architectures and high-throughput data systems. I’ve designed and implemented Kafka-based pipelines, replication and consensus mechanisms, sharding strategies, and multi-model consistency architectures that support mission-critical workloads. I focus on systems where data correctness, durability patterns, and real-time performance all intersect.In recent years, my work has expanded into production-grade AI platforms. I design and operate generative AI and agentic systems with the same discipline applied to any critical infrastructure: predictable latency, data isolation, observability, cost control, and failure handling. I hold the AWS Generative AI Developer – Professional certification, which reflects hands-on experience building and operating GenAI systems on AWS rather than experimental or demo-only workloads.I also work close to the OS, leveraging Linux internals, namespaces, cgroups, eBPF, process and resource isolation, and network stack engineering to build platforms with predictable performance characteristics. This ensures distributed-system designs are grounded in actual CPU, memory, I/O, and scheduling behavior, not abstraction.Security and trust are core to my engineering philosophy.
