As a PhD Candidate at the University of British Columbia with a passion for bridging the gap between environmental science and policy, I specialize in developing data-driven solutions for land use, climate change, and sustainable resource management.My expertise lies in ecosystem service modeling (InVEST, ARIES), advanced spatial analysis, and multi-criteria decision analysis, which I have applied to lead complex, policy-oriented projects for partners like Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Parks Canada, and the Okanagan Collaborative Conservation Partnership (OCCP). My doctoral research focuses on modeling ecosystem service dynamics to enhance sustainability in the Canadian Prairies.I am honored to be a selected Fellow for the prestigious Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), where I contribute to the global assessment on spatial planning and ecological connectivity.
