Ericha Scott, Ph.D, LPCC917, ICAADC, ATR-BC, REAT An authentic, dedicated, and passionate, licensed and certified creative arts psychotherapist, artist, author, and advocate for disempowered populations. For 39 years, she has worked with those who struggle with substance and behavioral use disorders, victims of trauma, complex trauma, torture, dissociation, and victims of sex trafficking. Her commitment to health, wellness, and art as medicine includes experiential teaching professional clinicians, medical doctors, the public, and for her own personal health journey. Her investment in social change via the arts across the world includes travel, presentations, collaboration, and cultural exchange in 4 continents. Her worldwide workshops bring hope and healing to diverse populations. She has been initiated in several shamanic traditions, certified as an interfaith spiritual director, energy healer, certified advanced substance use disorder counselor, and is a dually certified creative and expressive arts therapist. While working at Sierra Tucson as a unit therapist, she was given the Alumni Recognition Award for providing excellent and effective client services. She holds the (ICAADC) awarded by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC & RC) and the (AADC) Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification. Dr. Scott is a Fellow of the oldest trauma organization in the world, The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), and has decades of experience healing compulsivity, grief, trauma, dissociation, self-harm, nightmares, integrative health, wellness, and the creative arts psychotherapies. She has been recognized throughout the United States and abroad for her original, unique, educational and powerful healing creative arts experiences. For eight years, she taught creative arts therapies for the associate fellows in the Andrew Weil, MD, Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Recently she presented for the first creative arts therapy conference in the middle east for the Egyptian Art Therapy Association in Cairo, Egypt.
