I was on assignment at Harborview Medical Center, a level I Trauma Ctr. in Seattle, Washington, and worked in Interventional Radiology. Provided Care of patients in Interventional Radiology department undergoing procedures in CT and MRI. The procedures performed are for stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and subdural hemorrhage patients. This involves monitoring and ongoing assessment and the administration of moderate sedation of patients undergoing cerebral angiograms, AVM embolization, aneurysm coiling, spinal artery embolization and angioplasty. Other procedures in include IVC filter, port placement, tunneled central line placement, tunneled hemodialysis catheter, G/J tube placement, extremity run-off and TIPS. Other procedures involve monitoring and ongoing assessment and administration of moderate sedation of patients were for a liver, kidney, and lung biopsies. Drain placement, paracentesis and thoracentesis.
