ABOUT EHAB SAYED
Ehab Sayed received a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering with the highest distinction from Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University, Egypt, in 2010. He worked as a teaching and research assistant there from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, he received an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines and Drive Systems specialization, from the same faculty. He joined McMaster University, Ontario, Canada, in 2016 to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. While pursuing the degree, he was involved in many industrial projects where he designed various types of electric machines for different applications. He received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University in 2019. Dr. Sayed then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at McMaster Automotive/Aerospace Resource Centre where his research interest was the design of electric machines for automotive/aerospace applications. He is currently a principal engineer at Enedym Inc, Hamilton, Canada where his focus is the design and drive of switched reluctance machines.
