My involvement included design development, design-construction coordination, review and approval of shop drawings, technical meetings, and reports, RFIs, and project controls. Experience in the use of innovative materials (non-metallic fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP), ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC)), Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC), Structural Heath Monitoring (SHM), and field testing of bridges using calibrated truck loads. Voting member of CSA Committee S807 “Specification for Fibre-Reinforced Polymers”, ASTM Committee D30.10 “Composites for Civil Structures”, and ACI Committee 440 “Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Reinforcement”. Associate member of ACI Committee 343 “Concrete Bridge Design-Joint ACI-ASCE”.
