I am a dual-qualified attorney—Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and an Attorney in New York State. Recognized among the 100 Most Influential Young Nigerians (Law & Governance, 2019) and a 40-Under-40 honoree at the ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards (2019), I have a distinguished career spanning top global financial institutions and leading law firms.Currently, I serve as Counsel in the Fund Law and Policy Division of the Legal Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), advising member countries on IMF law, policies on lending, surveillance, and technical assistance, and contributing to key policy working groups. Previously, I was Principal Legal Counsel at the African Development Bank, where I advised on financial resource mobilization, international capital market borrowings, and structured finance transactions.My private sector experience includes working in the Global Finance Group at Sidley Austin LLP, New York, advising on structured finance and securitization, and in the Finance Group at Templars, Lagos, handling banking, capital markets, and project finance transactions.
