I provide front-line Estates, Facilities, and Property Management consultancy on an “informed client” basis, working either alongside or within property and estate teams to give clear, strategic instruction to their appointed Suppliers.As both a qualified Solicitor and former NHS Strategic Estates Lead, I bring a unique blend of legal and operational expertise across property law, compliance assurance, and estate regularisation. I understand the pressures organisations face, and I deliver solutions that are legally sound, operationally practical, and aligned with organisational values.Currently retained by several NHS Trusts as their Property Advisor, I support a wide range of estate matters, including landlord and tenant issues, service charge audits, leasehold regularisation, disposals, and acquisitions. I also work closely with Trust boards on business case preparation and compliance strategy.Alongside advisory and compliance work I’m a nationally recognised CAFM / CMMS Consultant, I deliver hands-on support with the implementation and optimisation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) platforms. From initial system selection through to data migration, configuration, and integration with existing processes, I ensure systems are embedded in a way that supports statutory compliance, audit readiness, and operational resilience. I also provide tailored training and ongoing optimisation support to Estates and Facilities teams, ensuring that the systems remain practical tools rather than underutilised investments. My approach is to build capability within teams, enabling them to evidence compliance, plan proactively, and drive measurable efficiencies across their estates portfolios.Through EFM Consulting Ltd, my mission is simple: to support the transformation of property management, delivering value, quality, and sustainability across the estate.Outside of work, I’m an aspiring writer and a Private Pilot.
