About Lizzy Laferriere
I work at the intersection of health, design, and policy, helping reimagine how systems are built — and who they’re built for. My work is about translating complexity into action, bringing unlikely partners into alignment, and building systems that empower the people they’re meant to serve.I’m known for stepping into complicated environments and making them feel workable. I build trust quickly. I create clarity where things are messy. I help people move from good intentions to real, testable change.Over the past decade, I’ve worked inside federal and county agencies, national initiatives, and community-centered innovation efforts — advising senior leaders, designing multi-million-dollar programs, and building initiatives that sit at the edge of policy and practice. I don’t just ask what’s possible; I design pathways to get there.Right now, my work is focused on health and justice — the space where systems fail hardest and matter most. I believe the future of public health won’t be built only at the top; it will be built with communities, through design, and with courage. If you’re working on health equity, justice reform, civic innovation, or systems change — and you care as much about how we build as what we build — I’d love to connect!
