With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and leisure industry, I’ve built my career across a variety of roles, brands, and locations, developing a strong understanding of people, service excellence, and commercial performance.In my current role as Director of Groups, Conference & Events, I oversee the Groups Conference & Events Sales, Event Planning, Businesses administration and Reservations Team team at Hilton Birmingham Metropole, one of the largest conference and event hotels in the UK. I’m passionate about creating exceptional service experiences while driving strategic, sustainable revenue growth.Commercially focused and data driven, I excel at identifying and maximising revenue opportunities through strong analytical skills, trend recognition, and sound business decision-making. I take pride in developing engaged, motivated teams who deliver the business strategy with clarity, purpose, and accountability.Relationship-building is at the heart of how I work. I’m able to build trust quickly with colleagues, business partners, guests, and owners, even in challenging or high pressure situations.
