Evelynn Escobar is a multi-dimensional culture shifter, storyteller, and creator. Originally from the DMV, working in social media strategy brought her to Los Angeles where she authentically began to amass a social media following by bridging her passions of sneakers and streetwear, beauty, travel, wellness, and social justice in a unique way. Known most for igniting a creative movement in the outdoors with the creation of intersectional women’s outdoor collective and non-profit, Hike Clerb, her work has achieved accolades and has been covered by most major publications. Since then she has shifted to taking the role of founder and executive director, creative director, talent/model, public speaker, writer, thought leader, and mother. As Founder and Executive Director of Hike Clerb, she has created a framework for community care that has inspired a new generation to start their own communities beyond the outdoors while mobilizing and growing a multi-generational, multi-racial movement out into green spaces and healing together in real-time. To date, Hike Clerb has guided over Black, Indigenous women of color into nature and grown a digital community of over 40K members. As a creative director, public speaker, writer, and thought leader she has created her own lane through collaborations with the likes of Nike, Hoka, Everybody.World, The North Face, Salomon, and Klean Kanteen, on original and holistic storytelling. Evelynn has emerged as one of the most influential and sought-after multi-hyphenate creative community leaders in the social space. A powerhouse in every sense of the word, her work centers on the betterment of Black and brown people through wellness, representation, equity, and investment in her respective communities.

   Hike Clerb is an outdoor community-based non-profit reimagining an equitable and inclusive outdoors, for us by us. Inspired to take action by the lack of participation of women of color outdoors, Evelynn Escobar established Hike Clerb in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. Hike Clerb was born as a radical andcreative solution to help bridge the nature gap among people of color. We equip Black, Indigenous, women, and gender-expansive people of color with the tools, resources, education, and experiences they need to collectively heal in nature.
