In my current role at FedEx I have the privilege of supporting four teams with global responsibilities.* Our IT Audit team has assurance and advisory responsibilities for the FedEx global IT environment. We are trusted business partners for the IT organization as well as the business teams leveraging all aspects of information technology.* With the Control Self Monitoring (CSM) team, we support management across the globe in their efforts to maintain a good view of controls in their areas, and visibility into any adjustments that need to be made.* Internal Audit Performance Assurance supports the global audit department with professional development, standards, and communications. This includes our highly successful internship program, which has seen over 400 interns be part of our department during their college years as a stepping stone to a long and successful career in audit or elsewhere at FedEx.* The Internal Audit Data Analytics team provides our global audit team with the expertise, tools, and data needed in today\'s audit environment. We foster innovation, automation and data visualization across the department. Through our embedded Data Analytics Champions we are working to democratize the use of increasingly advanced data analytics in everyday audit assignments.
