ABOUT EDWIN ORTIZ
As the Director of Campus Ministry at Regis High School, I oversee the spiritual formation and service-learning programs for over 500 students and staff. With an MA in Teaching Foreign Language and a BA in Theology, I combine my passion for education and faith in my role. I have more than ten years of experience in Campus Ministry and education, having previously worked at Calvert Hall College High School as a Campus Minister and a Teacher. I have developed and implemented various initiatives to foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and social justice, such as interfaith dialogues, immersion trips, and community partnerships. I have also leveraged my skills in social networking, teamwork, and time management to collaborate with different stakeholders and coordinate events and activities with all community partners. My mission is to empower and inspire young people to live out their values and beliefs, and to contribute to the common good. I am always eager to make sure that everyone I encounter feels valued and recognizes their worth.
