ABOUT EDWIN KIM
I am a psychiatrist and a leader in the field of mental health, addiction, and physician health with a focus on comprehensive, patient-centered care. In my role as Director of Addiction Treatment Services at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System and Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) at Stanford University School of Medicine, I combine clinical practice with a commitment to education and research.My leadership extends to the field of physician and healthcare professional health, where I\'ve had the honor of working with peer assistance programs to support safety-sensitive occupation workers. This experience has reinforced my belief in the importance of providing specialized, confidential care to those in the healthcare workforce.
