Completed mission preparation activities, orbit-raising campaigns, and IOT for 5+ GEO communications satellites. Real-time tasks include configuring incoming downlink telemetry from the satellite, commanding uplinks to the satellite, performing ranging with remote groundstations, performing propellant accounting, and maintaining a flight log of mission events.• Wrote an efficient and versatile Matlab program to automate the spacecraft propellent accounting process while simultaneously increasing accuracy and reducing human error.• Wrote an optimal scheduling algorithm in Matlab to expedite the process of assigning shifts to engineers during orbit-raising.• Performed coverage analysis and communication system verification for the Power and Propulsion Element (part of NASA’s Lunar Gateway).• Worked alongside the GNC/Orbits team to perform spacecraft orbit determination and learn mission analysis tasks.
