ABOUT EDWIN AGUILAR

I build and scale finance organizations that enable better, faster decision-making. As one of the first finance hires at Sui Foundation, I architected the financial operating system behind a global L1 blockchain foundation, partnering closely with leadership to drive planning, capital allocation, and long-term strategy. My work sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and strategy. I’ve built the infrastructure, but more importantly, I’ve used it to help leadership understand performance, evaluate tradeoffs, and make high-impact decisions in complex, fast-moving environments. With a CPA and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, I bring both institutional rigor and a builder’s mindset to organizations operating at the frontier of technology. I’ve built- Financial architecture → end-to-end planning, reporting, and data systems across multiple departments, enabling real-time visibility into performance and spend - Scalable organizations → global finance team, hiring and developing managers to independently own FP & A, reporting, and executive-ready outputs - Operating infrastructure → controls, compliance, and cross-functional systems across a multi-entity, crypto-native environment I focus on- Strategic finance → forecasting, scenario modeling, and translating financial data into actionable insights for leadership - Capital allocation → partnering with executives to evaluate tradeoffs and deploy resources across competing priorities - Treasury & complexity → navigating large-scale, multi-currency environments with evolving regulatory and operational constraints
