Upgraded VMWare production cluster hosts to 6.7 Update 3. Setup new VCenter running 6.7U3. Setup 3 node Dev/QA cluster. • Migrating SAN infrastructure to HPE Primera. Working with HPE to setup replication between HPE Primera and EMC Vmax. Instituting migration steps with test systems prior to proper migration.• Implementing Cohesity backup infrastructure. Completed VMWare vm, physical server migrations. Configuring Oracle Database backups.• Successfully consolidate datacenter Cisco core and aggregation switch/routers to two Cisco Nexus switch/routers. Reducing datacenter footprint, power consumption and maintenance costs.• Collaborated on the design of Cisco 3850 stack core switch/router to replace Cisco 6504 core/distribution environment. Implemented staged migrated of corporate offices closet switches, firewalls and SD Wan appliance to new core environment.• Worked on migrating remote offices to Meraki switches. Configuring and setting up the new switches in the Meraki dashboard and cutting over facilities to the new switches.• Part of group that setup Palo Alto Firewalls to replace Cisco ASA firewalls in datacenter.• Consolidate corporate Palo Alto firewall rules, migrate from PA-220 to PA-820.• Setup Minemeld and created a EDL (External Dynamic List) to whitelist O365 addresses on Palo Alto Firewall. Setup security policies to only allow those addresses for O365 applications.• Setting up Panorama appliance and configuring to add all our Palo Alto firewalls from central management.• Configured Microsoft Azure Site Recovery environment. Setup physical and virtual servers for replication in Azure for corporate business continuity and disaster recovery strategy.• Collaborated on Express Route configuration between Azure and corporate LAN.• Collaborated in the design of VMWare environment with iSCSI SAN for 4 of our remote offices. Setup the VMWare environment for the remote offices, migrated virtual servers and P2V physical servers as well as setup Unitrends backup appliance. • Migrated several offices to new physical servers. Promoted new domain controllers and demoted old ones. Setup fileserver/print server migrations. Migrated users to new fileserver/print servers.• Transitioned offices with VMWare implementations with Unitrends backup appliances, configured AWS S3 storage buckets for offsite, long term data retention.• Working with various storage vendors to perform analysis and evaluate SAN configurations that best suit our next SAN environment.
