ABOUT BETH EDWARDS

I am an experienced Higher Education professional with a strong background in academic regulations, research, and inclusivity. My career spans a variety of roles that bring together policy expertise, research, and communication, always with a focus on accessibility, clarity, and impact.My research experience includes qualitative, co-produced, and mixed-method studies across diverse areas such as Enterprise Education and Autism. I am also an experienced presenter, having delivered to audiences of all sizes and hosted a bilingual podcast. I am a Fellow of the HEA and a Fellow of EEUK.Currently, I serve as Senior Officer: Regulations at Bangor University, where I:• Lead the review, development, and maintenance of student-related regulations, ensuring compliance, accessibility, and relevance.• Design and deliver staff development, training resources, and publish key regulatory information (including the University’s academic calendar).• Act as the primary contact for complex regulatory queries, offering expert interpretation and advice.• Support institutional compliance and risk management by aligning policy with practice.• Contribute to quality-related audits and reviews, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and preparedness.Alongside my university role, I work as a freelance consultant focused on Autism, Inclusivity, and Neurodiversity.
