Eddie is a Senior at Southern Methodist University (SMU), pursuing double majors in Computer Science and Data Science, alongside minors in Business and Math. He is passionate about the intersection between technology and financial markets.As President and Co-Founder of Traders@SMU, SMU’s first Quantitative Finance Club, Eddie has led the group’s growth into a premier organization for students passionate about financial markets. He oversees operations, collaborates with an executive team to organize educational sessions, and prepares members for quant finance interviews and trading competitions. By fostering hands-on learning and teamwork, Eddie empowers members to succeed in the financial industry.Eddie recently completed his second Summer Internship at J.P. Morgan, working on the Delta One — Equity Derivatives Trading desk in New York. Building on his first summer rotating across 10+ trading desks, he strengthened his expertise in market-making, volatility strategies, and equity derivatives. Upon graduation, Eddie will return full-time as an Equity Derivatives Trader.His formative years attending an international school in Uganda—and later living in Spain—gives him a global perspective and deep appreciation for diverse cultures. These experiences honed his communication skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in collaborative environments.At SMU, Eddie continues to grow in Dallas’s vibrant academic and professional environment, constantly refining his skills to make an impact in the fintech and quantitative finance spaces.
