Over the last (10) years in Quality Assurance he has developed an expertise in delivering cross functional projects utilizing a combination of onsite, near-shore and offshore resources, and hardening the quality into products utilizing automation frameworks while leading the non-functional Enterprise Integration and Performance Test efforts.The (2) key attributes that have contributed to Edward\'s success are his ability to collaborate vertically and horizontally, and his technical versatility. Some of Edward\'s career highlights include: • Leading the Test Automation development effort used to support implementations of Trading Platforms in the UK and Brazil• Reducing the server and networking footprint by 30% for a Visa Credit Card platform• Reduced the Round-Trip Time for electronic transactions on the Exchange from 400 milliseconds to under (<1 millisecond)• Planned and led the System and Performance Test validation efforts in a merger between (2) Futures Exchanges• Migrated the Futures/Options Exchange trading ecosystem in (8) months to a new data center. In addition Edward is an avid sports fan and enjoys supporting all Chicago teams but especially the CUBS and BEARS.

   As a member of the Big Data Architecture Team my role is to Design, Develop and Execute a Big Data Test Program that encompasses functional testing, data integration testing, performance testing, test automation and continuous integration of services in support of the successful delivery for all implementations of our Cyber Security SaaS solutions. This also includes supporting the Hadoop ecosystem in the test environments as well as developing and delivering training to members of the software engineering teams. Tools currently utilized are Agile, Java, Python, Tomcat, Eclipse, Flume, Kafka, Sqoop, Hbase, Phoenix, Hive, HDFS, Elasticsearch, MapReduce, Tez, YARN, ZooKeeper and Oozie.
