Accomplishments: Lead Controls Assessor • Responsible for the design and build out of Issue management tracker and evidence review process and procedures support issue validation/evidencing efforts by Santander business line based on VRAC findings from vendor risk reviews. • Responsible for the quality assurance and review and tracking of over 800 suppliers in relation to fieldwork conducted by internal and co-sourced vendor risk assessment teams, providing independent challenge and feedback. • Planned, developed and executed complex vendor risk assessments to assessment the banks third party population supporting multiple business line stakeholders. • Responsible for engagement with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense (LOD) in discussion of emerging risks based on vendor risk assessments findings. • Responsible for providing input to senior management on enhancements to policies, process and procedures supporting vendor management lifecycle. • Responsible for drafting assessment findings and delivering reports to associated bank business lines stakeholders, along with engagement and feedback with 3rd party supplier stakeholders in relation to risks and controls deficiencies. • Responsible for mapping controls assessment questionnaires utilized by vendor management to various frameworks (ISO, FFIEC, NIST), privacy mandates (CCPA/CPRA/GDPR) and the banks internal policy requirements. • Responsible for developing and delivering training on established VRAC process and procedures to distributed vendor risk assessment team across US and Mexico. • Partners with various business line stakeholders (BISO, BCO, BURM) and policy stakeholders to detail associated risks and impacts to delivery of scoped services to Santander\'s business lines, resulting from VRAC assessment team reviews as part of on-going stakeholder engagements.
